460-Powered 1974 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT 4×4 4-Speed

This 1974 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT 4×4 pickup was retrofitted with a 460ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission under previous ownership. Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over blue upholstery, the truck is further equipped with a dual-range transfer case, a limited-slip rear differential, 17″ US Mags wheels, power steering, a sliding rear window, a spray-on bedliner, and an aftermarket head unit as well as an Edelbrock carburetor, an HEI distributor, and an aluminum radiator. Acquired by its current owner in September 2026, this F-250 is now offered by the seller on their behalf with an installed sports bar and a clean Oregon title in the current owner’s name.

The truck is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic and features a Styleside bed with a spray-on liner as well as a sliding rear window, stainless-steel lower trim, chrome-finished bumpers, and a receiver hitch. Bubbles in the paint are noted on various panels, and there are holes in the bedside and tailgate.

Polished 17″ US Mags wheels are wrapped in 315/70 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, manually locking front hubs, and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.

The bench seat is trimmed in blue vinyl with patterned inserts that extend to the door panels. Faux woodgrain accents the dashboard, and appointments include a locking hood release lever, inertia-reel seatbelts, and an aftermarket head unit. Various air conditioning components have been removed.

The two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery charge status, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added under current ownership.

The 460ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt before being retrofitted under previous ownership. Equipment includes an Edelbrock carburetor, an HEI distributor, and an aluminum radiator.

A four-speed manual transmission was installed under previous ownership and is linked to a dual-range transfer case and a Dana 60 limited-slip rear differential with 4.10:1 gears. A custom exhaust system has been fitted.
