This 2005 Ducati 999R has 7k miles through the current owner’s purchase in 2017, and it is powered by a liquid-cooled 998cc Testastretta L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission. Equipment includes carbon-fiber bodywork finished in red as well as a red-finished trellis frame, a full fairing, black 17″ Marchesini aluminum wheels, a black solo seat, adjustable control levers, adjustable Öhlins suspension, clip-on handlebars, a steering damper, dual vertically stacked headlights, an under-tail Termignoni muffler, and triple disc brakes with Brembo calipers. This 999R is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a bike cover, a rear stand, and a California title in the current owner’s name.

The Pierre Terblanche-designed bodywork is finished in red with white accents, and equipment includes carbon-fiber bodywork, a red-finished steel trellis frame, a full fairing, an integrated windscreen, fairing-mounted mirrors, adjustable control levers, dual vertically stacked headlights, a solo seat upholstered in black vinyl, a vented tail section, and a side stand. Blemishes on the bike are noted by the seller.

The black Marchesini 17″ aluminum wheels are mounted with Pirelli tires. Adjustable Öhlins suspension consists of an inverted 43mm fork with titanium nitride-coated stanchions in addition to a piggyback monoshock attached to the swingarm via a progressive linkage. Braking is provided by radially mounted four-piston Brembo calipers fitted over dual 320mm discs up front and a two-piston caliper mounted over a single 240mm disc at the rear. The tires require replacement, per the seller.

Clip-on handlebars are mounted below the upper triple clamp, which has an attachment point for the piston-style steering damper. Instrumentation consists of a Magneti Marelli 13k-rpm tachometer topped with indicator lights as well as a multifunction digital display with readouts for the speedometer, coolant temperature, voltage, and time of day. The digital odometer indicates 7k miles.

The liquid-cooled 998cc Testastretta L-twin features Weber-Marelli electronic fuel injection, a 54mm throttle body, a desmodromic valvetrain, four titanium valves per cylinder, carbon-fiber timing belt covers, a carbon-fiber clutch cover, and a Termignoni exhaust system. The timing belts were replaced, and the valve clearances were adjusted in 2013, and the seller states that the bike is due for a service.

Power is routed to the rear wheel through a hydraulically actuated multi-plate dry clutch, a six-speed transmission, and a drive chain.

A bike cover and a rear stand are included in the sale.
The California title is listed as a duplicate.
