This 1987 Porsche 924S was acquired by the seller on BaT in January 2025 and received over $10k in subsequent work, including overhauling the air conditioning system, installing a touchscreen head unit and aftermarket speakers, and replacing the timing belt, accessory belts, engine mounts, alternator, starter, spark plugs, battery, and steering rack. Now showing 43k miles, the car is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in red over black vinyl and Porsche-script cloth. Features include a sunroof and a rear spoiler as well as pop-up headlights and 15″ phone-dial wheels. This 924S is offered at no reserve with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a New Jersey title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Guards Red and features pop-up headlights, a sunroof, a rear hatch spoiler, and black trim. An electric antenna was installed in 2025. A number of touch-ups are noted.
This is a relist after the car was offered on BaT in August 2026 and withdrawn to allow the seller time to sort out a mileage discrepancy on the title. A replacement New Jersey title has since been obtained.
Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the steering rack was replaced in August 2025. Silver-finished 15″ phone-dial wheels were mounted with replacement Pirelli tires in preparation for the sale, close-up photos of which are provided in the gallery.
The front bucket seats and folding contoured rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl with Porsche-script cloth inserts. Appointments include air conditioning, a retractable cargo cover, and power windows. A Power Acoustik CP-71W single-DIN touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay connectivity has been installed along with replacement speakers. The dashboard wears a plastic cap, and the air conditioning was converted to R134a and repaired in June 2025.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. An analog clock and an oil pressure gauge are housed in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.5-liter inline-four was factory rated at 147 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque when new. Work performed under current ownership in 2025/2026 included an oil change as well as replacement of the following components:

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. An aftermarket catalytic converter has been installed. A Noxudol undercoating was applied in 2025.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The current New Jersey title is listed as a replacement and notes an actual mileage reading of 40,294.
