383 SBC–Powered 1967 Kaiser-Jeep M715

This 1967 Kaiser-Jeep M715 is a 1¼-ton pickup produced for the US military. It is said to have been retrofitted around three or four years ago with a fuel-injected Chevy small-block 383ci stroker V8, which is mated to an NV4500 five-speed manual transmission and a twin-stick NP205 transfer case. The truck also features a canvas soft top, black-out lighting, power steering, 16″ steel wheels with bias-ply tires, and full-floating axles. The vehicle was acquired by the seller in August 2026. This M715 is offered with a Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The body has an olive drab repaint from the past two years, per the seller, and patinated areas show an earlier blue finish. Exterior details include black-out lights, a brush guard, a pass-through storage compartment, cargo tie-downs, and rear bumperettes. Flaws around the vehicle are pictured in close-up photos shown in the gallery below.

The 16″ steel wheels are installed on six-lug hubs, and they are mounted with 9.00-series bias-ply tires. Unassisted drums provide braking, and the seller notes a soft pedal.

An ammo can is fitted between the bucket seats, which are trimmed in vinyl upholstery, and the cab has bare metal floors, a glovebox, and a white shift knob.

The steering wheel fronts Dolphin instruments and a digital engine monitoring display. The seller drove the truck approximately 100 miles under current ownership, although the odometer is not working, and total mileage is unknown.

The seller tells us that the Chevy small-block V8 is stroked to displace 383ci. The engine has Holley sniper electronic fuel injection, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, an electric cooling fan, and Hedman headers.

The seller reports that the transmission is an NV4500 five-speed manual, and it is mated to a twin-stick NP205 transfer case. The drivetrain is further equipped with a closed-knuckle Dana 60 front axle and a Dana 70 rear end, both of which have full-floating shafts.

The odometer entry on the Colorado title is “Exempt”.
