First Production 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport Premium

This 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport Premium is serial number 0001, which is the first production CTS Vsport for the model year. The right to purchase the first production VIN was won at an auction to benefit the SAE Foundation by the owner’s spouse in 2013. The Cadillac was subsequently built to the purchaser’s specifications. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 linked to an Aisin eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential, and the car is finished in Red Obsession Tintcoat over Jet Black leather with Morello Red accents. Equipment includes 18″ wheels, Magnetic Ride Control, HID headlights, an Ultraview sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, three-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, navigation, and a Bose sound system. This CTS Vsport Premium has 13k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a window sticker, the manufacturer’s literature, SAE and GM correspondence, service records, and a clean Colorado title.

The car is finished in Red Obsession Tricoat (G7E) and has HID headlights, an Ultraview sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, tinted windows, and parking sensors. Repaired paint chips are noted on the body.

The 18″ split-spoke machined wheels wear staggered-width Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP tires. The car rides on a Magnetic Ride Control suspension, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs with Brembo front calipers.

The heated and ventilated power-adjustable front bucket seats and a heated rear bench are upholstered in Jet Black semi-aniline leather with Morello Red accents and Morello Red carbon-fiber trim. Additional amenities include driver’s seat memory settings, Adaptive Remote Vehicle Start, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, blind-spot monitoring, rear sunshades, three-zone automatic climate control, navigation, and a CD stereo linked to a Bose surround-sound system.

A heated leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a configurable digital instrument cluster with readouts for fuel range, tire pressure, and boost pressure. The digital odometer indicates 13k miles.

The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 was factory rated at 420 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Work in June 2026 consisted of performing the BG fuel system treatment and an oil change.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via an Aisin eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential. The rear differential carrier was replaced under a recall campaign.

The window sticker lists standard equipment and options, a total vehicle price of $73,085, and initial delivery to General Motors Corporation of Detroit, Michigan.

Correspondence from SAE and GM will accompany the vehicle.

The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries.
