Pedro Pascal Makes Movie Scores in Gilroy’s ‘Behemoth!’ Trailer #2

Behemoth! Trailer #2

“We should tell the hard story…” Searchlight Pictures unveiled the second official trailer for the movie titled Behemoth!, the latest cinematic story told by the acclaimed writer / director Tony Gilroy, best known for Michael Clayton (brilliant film), the Bourne movies, and “Andor” series recently. This premiered at NYFF earlier this month to mixed reviews – some good but others not good. Pedro Pascal plays a famous cellist from a family of musicians who returns to Los Angeles to start a career as a music composer for movies. A love letter to the music of the movies. Gilroy has been a huge lover of movie scores his whole life and is finally making his personal story about that passion. The film features a series of composers known as “The Behemoth! Collective” all contributing – with: Michael Abels, Emily Bear, Lukas Frank, Michael Giacchino, James Newton Howard, Henry Jackman, Nami Melumad, Brandon Roberts, & Alan Silvestri. The title is a reference to a major movie Pascal’s character is creating music for going under the secret title of Behemoth! (the first scene in this trailer). The full cast includes Pascal, with Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton, Kaya Ralls, Erik Griffin, Jobeth Williams, Margarita Levieva, with Hank Azaria and Will Arnett. Honestly this still looks really good! I’m looking forward to watching soon. // Continue Reading ›
