This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was first delivered to Bob Batey Chevrolet of Elk Grove, California, and is powered by a fuel-injected 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. A refurbishment is said to have been completed in 2015, and work in preparation for the sale included rebuilding the fuel injection system and fuel pump in addition to changing the fluids and replacing the battery and valve cover gaskets. Features include a removable hardtop, 15″ steel wheels with knock-off-style covers, power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, an AM/FM radio, and concealed headlights. An Ididit steering column and power steering were added in 2021. This C2 convertible was previously offered on BaT in May 2024, and it is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer with a CCAS certificate, an owner’s manual, a service record, additional literature, and a clean California title.

The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Daytona Blue and was refinished in 2015. Features include a removable hardtop, flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance. The car does not have a soft top.

The 15″ steel wheels with knock-off-style covers are mounted with 205/75 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by aftermarket power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums, and power steering was added in June 2021.

The refurbished cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in Dark Blue vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.

The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit tilting column and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 84k miles, 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The 327ci L84 V8 featured Rochester mechanical fuel injection and a high-lift camshaft to produce a factory-rated 360 horsepower. Work in August 2026 included rebuilding the fuel injection system and fuel pump in addition to changing the fluids and replacing the battery and valve cover gaskets.

The engine stamping includes sequence F1121RF, which matches the last six digits of the vehicle’s serial number. The RF suffix corresponds with a 360-horsepower, 327ci V8 for use with a manual transmission.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an optional Positraction differential.
