This 1962 Mercedes-Benz 190SL is finished in silver over a red leather interior and is powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a body-color hardtop, a black soft top, 13″ wheels, power-assisted drum brakes, an Audiovox cassette radio, and twin Weber carburetors. The owner acquired the car on BaT in April 2021 and it is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with a Washington title describing it as a 1963 model.

The body was originally finished in white and underwent a color to change to the current shade of silver during previous ownership. The replacement black soft top is shown raised below, and a silver removable hardtop is included in the sale.

13″ steel wheels are fitted with polished and black-painted hubcaps and wear 175/85 Michelin ZX tires. Factory equipment includes double-wishbone front suspension, rear swing axles with coil springs, and power-assisted drum brakes.

The cabin features a red leather dash pad, door panels, and seats along with red square weave carpets and a white dashboard. Equipment includes a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a modern Becker-style radio, and a VDO clock mounted in the glovebox door.

The two-spoke ivory-colored steering wheel features a chrome horn ring. VDO instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller. The true mileage is unknown.

The 1.9-liter M121 inline-four has been fitted with twin Weber carburetors.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The floor pans were replaced during previous ownership, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
