This 1979 Lincoln Continental Williamsburg Town Car sedan is finished in Jubilee Gold and Special Cream over Jubilee Gold leather and vinyl, and it is powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. It also has a color-keyed vinyl roof, a hood ornament, opera windows, concealed headlights, turbine-style 15″ cast aluminum wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, an illuminated outside thermometer, a Cartier-branded clock, power-adjustable Twin Comfort Lounge front seats, a Sony cassette stereo linked to a trunk-mounted CD changer, and power windows and door locks. The seller states that the carburetor was replaced and the brakes were serviced within the last three months. This Continental Town Car is offered at no reserve with a clean California title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The car left the factory finished in Jubilee Gold with Special Cream lower paint. Exterior details include a color-keyed vinyl roof, a hood ornament, opera windows, coach lamps, bright bumpers, and concealed headlights and windshield wipers.

Turbine-style 15″ cast aluminum wheels are wrapped in Super Ride narrow-whitewall tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, the former of which were reportedly serviced with replacement rotors within the last three months.

The power-adjustable Twin Comfort Lounge front seats and the rear bench seat are upholstered in Jubilee Gold leather and vinyl, and woodgrain trim accents the color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Appointments include cruise control, a Cartier-branded clock, a Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning with automatic temperature control, and power windows and door locks as well as an illuminated outside thermometer. A Sony CD changer is mounted in the trunk.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal sweep 85-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 400ci V8 produced 159 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque when new, and it drives the rear wheels through a Select-Shift three-speed automatic transmission. The seller tells us that work performed within the last three months involved changing the oil and installing a replacement carburetor.
