23-Years-Owned 1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 Kompressor 5-Speed at No Reserve

This 1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 Kompressor was acquired by the current owner in 2003 and has 44k miles. It is finished in Magma Red Metallic over Charcoal leather and is powered by a supercharged 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include a body-color retractable hardtop, 16″ wheels, a Bose sound system, a Kenwood CD player and CD changer, and dual-zone climate control. This R170 is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with an owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Minnesota title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in Magma Red Metallic (586) and has a power-retractable hardtop, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, a heated rear window, and fog lights. The trunk struts were replaced in September 2026. Close-up photos of exterior imperfections are provided in the gallery below.

The 16″ wheels are mounted with an older set of Goodyear Eagle tires. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear multilink suspension as well as Automatic Slip Control (ASR). Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs.

The six-way manually adjustable seats are upholstered in Charcoal leather, and interior details include a Bose sound system, an AM/FM stereo, dual-zone climate control, and carbon-look trim. A Kenwood CD player and CD changer have been installed. There are imperfections on some interior surfaces. The air conditioning system was recharged in preparation for the sale.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames silver-dial instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 44k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.

The supercharged 2.3-liter inline-four was factory rated at 185 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
