72cc-Powered 1970 Honda Z50A Mini Trail at No Reserve

This 1970 Honda Z50A Mini Trail was acquired by the seller circa 2012, reportedly following long-term storage by its first owner. A refurbishment was then started in 2025 and completed in 2026. The four-stroke single received a 72cc top end kit, and the bike was refinished in metallic red with silver accents. Shifting is through an automatic clutch and a three-speed transmission, and additional details include a height-adjustable seat, an upswept exhaust, a kick starter, a side stand, chrome twist-lock handlebars, trail lighting, chrome fenders, and aftermarket multi-piece 8″ wheels. This Z50A Mini Trail is now offered at no reserve in Ohio for off-road use only with a bill of sale.

The frame, fork, and headlight bucket were bead-blasted, per the seller, and power-coated with a silver base coat and metallic red top coat. The 0.7-gallon fuel tank has silver accents and chrome trim on the lower lip, and the black solo seat is height-adjustable to fit the size of the rider. Additional details include a side stand, folding foot pegs with rubber covers, trail lighting, and high-mounted chrome fenders.

The aftermarket 8″ multi-piece alloy wheels are finished in silver and were mounted with 3.50″-wide Yuanxing tires under current ownership. Braking is handled by front and rear drums. An inverted fork with rubber gaiters comprises the bike’s only suspension.

The chrome twist-lock folding handlebars carry black grips, bright levers, a twist-grip throttle, and a headlight switch. No instrumentation is present, therefore total mileage is unknown. A keyed ignition is located under the fuel tank.

The four-stroke single was refreshed with a 72cc top-end kit in the build, per the seller, and is equipped with a kick starter and an upswept chrome-finished exhaust system.

The engine number is shown above, and the reproduction VIN plate and frame stamp with the sequence Z50A315300 are located in the gallery.

Power is routed to the rear wheel through an automatic clutch, a three-speed transmission, and a replacement gold-finished drive chain with a chrome upper guard.

The bike does not have a title or registration. It is being sold on a bill of sale only.
