This 2005 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 4×4 has been fitted with a “cat eye” front end, a Rancho 4″ suspension lift, FOX 2.0 Adventure Series shocks, 16″ Mickey Thompson wheels, a K&N cold air intake, and an Edge Evolution CTS2 programmer. Finished in Silver Birch Metallic over tan leather, the truck is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a Detroit Truetrac limited-slip rear differential. The interior features heated power-adjustable front seats, power-adjustable pedals, cruise control, automatic climate control, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, and a rear-seat entertainment system. This GMT800 Suburban has 204k miles and is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a Carfax report and a clean California title.

The exterior is finished in Silver Birch Metallic and has been fitted with a “cat eye” front end, using the hood, front bumper, grille, headlights, and front fenders from a GMT800 Silverado. Additional details include a power sunroof, wheel arch flares, tubular side steps, window tint film, roof rails, a receiver hitch, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors with ground illumination. A May 2017 entry on the Carfax report notes “minor” damage to the front. An August 2023 entry says that the truck was involved in a rear-end collision and notes “minor to moderate” damage to the front, left front, and undercarriage. Blemishes can be seen in the gallery below.

The black-finished 16″ Mickey Thompson wheels are mounted with 315/75 Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP tires, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. The truck has been fitted with a Rancho 4″ suspension lift, and FOX 2.0 Adventure Series shocks were recently installed. It was optioned with StabiliTrak traction control, though the corresponding warning light is illuminated on the instrument cluster.

The heated power-adjustable front captain’s chairs and second- and third-row bench seats are trimmed in tan leather. Interior amenities include driver-seat position memory settings, power-adjustable pedals, cruise control, and automatic climate control with separate rear-seat controls as well as a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, and a rear-seat entertainment system. The air conditioning system was recently recharged. The driver’s seat backrest is worn.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is worn and frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 204k miles, approximately 1,200 miles of which were added by the selling dealer. An Edge Evolution CTS2 programmer has been used to calibrate the speedometer to account for the larger tires.

The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was rated at 295 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque when new and is equipped with a K&N cold air intake. The oil was recently changed.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck has reportedly been fitted with a Detroit Truetrac limited-slip rear differential with 4.88:1 gearing.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report.
