Supercharged 383-Powered 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible is powered by a BluePrint Engines 383ci stroker V8 that breathes through a ProCharger supercharger and a Holley carburetor. The engine was installed circa 2004, and it is linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip 10-bolt rear end. The red body is complemented by a black convertible top and boot cover, and the cabin has matching upholstery, a horseshoe-style shifter, a retro-look stereo, and front bucket seats. Further equipment includes 15″ Rally wheels, power steering, front disc brakes, subframe connectors, MSD ignition, and a custom exhaust system with headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Service in 2026 has involved performing a valve adjustment and installing a replacement harmonic balancer, flexplate, starter, fuel pump, regulator, and lines in addition to the tires and front brake components. This modified Camaro convertible is now offered by Gasoline Alley Garage, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of its owner in California with a dynamometer report, service records, parts installation guides, and a clean Montana title in the owner’s name.

The body was delivered from the factory in Seafrost Green and has been repainted red. Exterior elements include a black convertible soft top, a matching vinyl boot cover, a raised-cowl hood, chrome wheel arch and bodyside moldings, front and rear spoilers, and SS-style emblems.

This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in June 2026 and the sale was not completed due to an engine vibration, which resulted in the replacement of the harmonic balancer, flexplate, and starter.

The 15″ Rally wheels wear derby-style hubcaps and are mounted with 225/60 front and 245/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The front-end bushings and ball joints were replaced under prior ownership. The seller notes that the tires were recently replaced along with the front brake calipers and pads.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl, and woodgrain trim accents the dashboard and center console. A retro-look digital stereo resides in the factory location.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an inset clock, while auxiliary gauges are mounted ahead of the horseshoe-style shifter. An aftermarket boost gauge is installed alongside an MSD timing controller. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, and the total mileage is unknown.

The BluePrint Engines 383ci stroker V8 was installed in 2004, and it is fitted with a ProCharger supercharger system, a Holley carburetor, MSD ignition, custom valve covers, and a high-capacity oil pan. A compression check and valve adjustment were recently performed along with replacing the harmonic balancer, flexplate, starter, power valve, Holley electric fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel lines. An engine specification sheet is included in the gallery below.

A dynamometer report from September 2026 indicates peak outputs of 375 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque.

The three-speed automatic transmission is linked with a 10-bolt rear end, which has a limited-slip differential, per the seller. Long-tube headers are linked to a dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Subframe connectors have been installed.
