This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was first featured on BaT in June 2014 and purchased by the current owner on BaT in October 2023. The car is powered by a 327ci L75 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in silver over black. Equipment includes 15″ turbine wheels, power-assisted disc brakes, power steering, an AM/FM radio, and concealed headlights. Work under current ownership has involved rebuilding the transmission, replacing the clutch and the rear shocks, and more. This C2 coupe is now offered by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, on dealer consignment with service records and a clean Texas title.
The fiberglass body left the factory finished in silver (940) and is said to have been repainted around 2010. Features include flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, and chrome bumperettes. The turn-signal switch, harness, and front bulbs, and the passenger-side headlight motor were replaced in December 2023. Blemishes are shown in the gallery, and the selling dealer notes that the passenger-side headlight does not always close.
The 15″ turbine wheels are mounted with 205/75 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Power steering and front disc brake conversion kits were installed in October 2022, and the rear shocks were replaced in December 2023.
The cabin was reupholstered under previous ownership and features two bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts. The shifter boot and ashtray were replaced in 2025.
The woodgrain steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The instrument cluster was refurbished in 2016, and the trip odometer, oil pressure gauge line, and horn button were replaced in 2024. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci L75 V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower. Gaskets for the oil pan, valve covers, engine vent, bolts, and distributor were replaced between December 2023 and February 2024. In March 2025, the heat riser was serviced and the exhaust manifold and exhaust-pipe flange gaskets were replaced. The oil was changed in May 2026, and an oil leak is noted.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential. Work performed in 2024 included rebuilding the transmission with a replacement countershaft, bearings, synchronizer bushings, and seals. The pilot bushing, flywheel, clutch disc, and pressure plate were also replaced.
