This 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is said to have been stored in a barn in Colorado for more than a decade before it was acquired by the seller in 2014. Subsequent work is noted to have included replacing the fuel tank, radiator, water pump, tires, and shocks. Power comes from a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and the truck rides on 15″ wagon-style wheels. Additional equipment includes a removable hardtop, manually locking front hubs, front disc brakes, LED headlights, a roll bar, and inward-facing rear jump seats. This FJ40 shows 164k miles and is now offered at no reserve with spare parts, a repair manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.
The truck was finished from the factory in White (033), and the body has areas of rust-through, worn paint, prior repairs, and other imperfections.
