This 1989 Morgan Plus 8 was purchased new by the current owner from Vintage Car Store of Nyack, New York, in April 1989. The vehicle now has 11k miles, and its tan leather upholstery was reconditioned in mid-2026. Finished in red, the Morgan is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, front disc brakes, driving lights, a roll bar, and three-point seatbelts as well as a tan soft top and a matching tonneau cover and side curtains. This Plus 8 is now offered in Ohio on dealer consignment with 1989 purchase paperwork, two keys, and a Virginia title.

The Plus 8 was hand-assembled in Malvern, England, with aluminum fenders and body panels as well as an ash wood subframe mounted on a galvanized steel chassis. The example is finished in Corsa Red. Exterior features include Lumax driving lights, a center-hinged louvered hood, a hood strap, a driver-door-mounted side mirror, dual flip-up fuel caps, reverse lights, and bright bumpers and trim. The roll bar anchors a third brake light, and the windshield was replaced in 2026.

A tan soft top and matching side curtains are included in the sale, as is a matching tonneau cover. Some of the full-frame photos in the accompanying gallery—including the rear-three-quarter images seen above—were taken in March 2026, before the interior was redone.

Silver-finished 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 205/60 Bridgestone Potenza G009 tires that show date codes from 2007; a matching spare is attached to the rear of the vehicle. The car was factory equipped with an independent front suspension and a live rear axle. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The tan leather upholstery was reconditioned in mid-2026, according to the seller. Appointments include three-point seatbelts, a heater, a clock, and floor mats. The horn was repaired in 2026, and the seller notes that the carpeted floor mats were recently replaced.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Tudor instrumentation consisting of a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for battery voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles.

The 3.5-liter Rover Vitesse V8 is fitted with electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The fluids were changed most recently in 2024, the seller tells us. Work in 2026 included cleaning the fuel tank and installing a replacement fuel pump and filter.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.

The Virginia title carries an “Actual” odometer brand.
