This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is a non-running project that features a replacement chassis, a V8, a Powerglide automatic transmission, and removed interior components. The car rolls on 15″ Rally wheels and has four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and an AM/FM radio. The chassis was refurbished under previous ownership, while wear and damage are present around the body. An additional engine block, cylinder heads, a four-speed manual transmission, and various parts are included in the sale. This C2 project was purchased by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, after it was previously sold on BaT in July 2026, and is now offered at no reserve with Alberta registration.
Photos of the body and the replacement chassis from when they were obtained are shown in the gallery. The car body is said to have been found in an Alberta farmer’s field, while the frame was purchased after it was removed from a 1967 convertible restomod project. The seller tells us that the previous VIN was removed from the replacement chassis, and that the original frame was scrapped.
The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Goodwood Green (983), and the front nose piece is a replacement. Damage is present around the car, and rust is noted in the birdcage. A hood and additional fenders are included, and there are no headlights or bumpers. The condition of the body is detailed in the photos and video below.
The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewall tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Power steering and power-assisted four-wheel discs are also fitted.
The included bucket seats have headrests and are trimmed in Saddle vinyl. Door panels, sun visors, a glove box, and additional trim and hardware will also accompany the project.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles. A vertical push-button AM/FM radio and an analog clock are present.
The 327ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, an alternator, and an air conditioning compressor.
A Powerglide automatic transmission and a replacement dual exhaust system are fitted. The replacement chassis was refurbished under previous ownership.
