32k-Mile 1993 Porsche 968 Coupe at No Reserve

This 1993 Porsche 968 is one of approximately 668 coupes produced for the North American market for the model year and now shows 32k miles. It is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed Tiptronic transaxle and is finished in Black over Black partial leather. Equipment includes 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a sunroof, a power-adjustable driver’s seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, and an Alpine head unit. The current owner purchased the car in 2024, and service under current ownership has included replacing the tires, windshield, fuel pressure regulator, balance belt idler pulley, engine mounts, and CV boots. This 968 is now offered at no reserve on behalf of its current owner by the seller—a BaT Local Partner—with recent service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and an Illinois title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in Black (L741) and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, body-color mirror caps, a power-operated sunroof, a rear hatch spoiler, a rear window wiper, and black bumperettes. The windshield was replaced and paintless dent repair performed in preparation for the sale. Close-up photos of the paint and trim condition are viewable in the gallery below, and a May 2026 inspection noted a leak in the windshield washer fluid tank when filled over 3/4 full.

The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires in November 2024. Stopping power is provided by four-piston calipers over vented discs at each corner, and ABS was standard. The power steering reservoir was replaced in May 2026, and an inspection at that time noted leaks in the power steering pump and steering rack.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in Black partial leather along with color-coordinating door panels and carpeting. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear seats, power windows and locks, cruise control, automatic climate control, and an Alpine headunit. The driver’s seat rail bushings are worn, and the seller notes play in the seat.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 32k miles, less than 1k miles of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.0-liter inline-four features VarioCam variable valve timing and was factory rated at 236 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pressure regulator and balance belt idler pulley were replaced in October 2024, and work in June 2025 consisted of replacing the engine mounts and changing the oil.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed Tiptronic transaxle. The CV boots were replaced in June 2025.
