Porsche M96 Flat-Six Engine Coffee Table at No Reserve

This coffee table was constructed by the seller using an M96.25 2.7-liter flat-six sourced from a 2005 Porsche Boxster that had an IMS bearing failure. The engine was disassembled, cleaned, vapor-blasted, and reassembled for display as a table with a tempered glass top. Lockable casters support the engine. This Porsche flat-six coffee table is offered at no reserve in Miami, Florida.

The engine hardware was yellow-zinc-plated. The crankcase halves, cylinder heads, valve covers, and an oil pan are retained. The internal components have been removed.

The 3/8″-thick tempered-glass tabletop has an etched Porsche crest and “there is no substitute” text. The top measures 42″ by 30″, and the overall height is 26 3/8″. Stainless-steel supports and aluminum spacers elevate the glass.
