If you caught the first Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer back in March, you probably noticed Peter Parker hanging upside down on a construction beam, Galaxy Z Flip in hand. Samsung’s presence was hard to miss. Now, the Samsung Spider-Man collaboration is officially confirmed, and it goes a lot further than a trailer cameo.
According to Samsung, Peter Parker carries the Galaxy Z Flip 7 throughout the film, while Ned Leeds, the tech-savvy “guy in the chair,” uses the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a Galaxy Watch. It’s a fitting pairing for a character who basically runs mission control from a desk.
But the real centerpiece of the partnership isn’t on the screen.
The Spidey Tracker Is Now Live

Sony Pictures and Samsung have teamed up on something called the Spidey Tracker, a fan-powered interactive experience tied directly to a plot element in Brand New Day. In the film, Ned builds a custom website to help locate Spider-Man around the city. That site is now real. Starting today at 3PM ET, fans can head to SpideyTracker.com and track Spider-Man sightings as they pop up at live events, creator videos, and real-world locations throughout the summer.
The Samsung Spider-Man collaboration is what powers the whole thing, with Galaxy devices woven into both the fictional version of the tracker and the real one fans are using right now.
Timing is no coincidence either. The Spidey Tracker launch lines up with the second trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which drops today as well. Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters July 31.
