This Arcadian Blue 1967 Ford Mustang C-code 289 coupe was owned in Arizona before being purchased by the seller’s father-in-law from a local mechanic in 1988, and according to the seller it was stored for an extended time before the seller’s wife assumed ownership in 2001. Approximately $10,000 was invested in recommissioning the car beginning in 2021, including replacing fluids, ignition components, reupholstery work, and a brake overhaul. The car is also equipped with front disc brakes, wire-style wheel covers, hood vents, a console, and a push-button radio along with air conditioning. This Mustang coupe is now offered with service records, a car cover, and transferable New York registration.

The car is finished in Arcadian Blue (F) and features hood vents and chrome bumpers. The seller states that the paint received touch-up work, compounding, waxing, and detailing in 2021.

The 14″ steel wheels are mounted with wire-style covers and BFGoodrich Control T/A M65 tires. Service performed in 2025 included replacement of the power brake booster along with the front rotors and calipers, and the shocks and control arms were also changed.

Interior work completed in 2025 included replacement two-tone upholstery, a new headliner, and a replacement dash cover. The car is equipped with a console, air conditioning, and an AM radio.

The steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. A replacement instrument-voltage regulator was installed in 2021.

The C-code 289ci V8 was factory rated at 200 horsepower. Approximately $10,000 in mechanical work was completed beginning in 2021 to make the car roadworthy. Services included flushing and replacing fluids, replacing the battery, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor, carburetor gaskets, fuel filter, air filter, hoses, belts, and various engine gaskets. Additional service completed in February 2025 included replacement of the battery, PCV valve, thermostat and gasket, temperature switch, and power-steering fluid, in addition to an oil and filter change. The seller notes an oil drip.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The shifter seals were changed in 2021, and the fluid was exchanged in February 2025.
