This 1950 GMC 100 is a half-ton pickup that was purchased by the owner in 2000 and refurbished between 2012 and 2024 with work that involved separating the five-window body from the frame and repainting it in red as well as rebuilding the 228ci inline-six. Inside, the bench seat has been re-trimmed in black vinyl, and black carpeting has been installed. The fuel tank has been relocated below the bed, which features a wood-plank floor with body-color runners and a polished filler cap. Additional details include a chrome grille, a four-speed manual transmission, and a driver-side mirror. Previously offered on BaT in December 2025, this New Design pickup is now offered again by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with spare parts and a clean Montana title.

The five-window cab and body were refinished in red during the refurbishment between 2016 and 2024, according to the seller. Details include a chrome grille and bumpers, body-color running boards, and a stained wood bed floor with painted runners and a polished fuel filler for the relocated under-bed tank. This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in August 2026 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle, and the winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted.

The seller notes the suspension and brakes were overhauled between 2012 and 2015. The truck rides on parallel leaf springs and solid axles front and rear, and braking is handled by four-wheel drums. Black 15″ wagon-style wheels are wrapped in 215/70 Starfire Solarus AS tires that are said to carry 2023 date codes.

The bench seat is trimmed in black vinyl, and interior appointments include a locking glovebox, a floor-mounted starter button, door locks, black carpeting, and a body-color steel dashboard. No radio is installed in the dash panel. The seller notes that the heater core was replaced ahead of the sale, photos of which are shown at the end of the gallery below.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 80-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, amperage, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the speedometer reads ~5 mph low.

The 228ci inline-six was factory rated at 96 horsepower and was rebuilt during the refurbishment by a GMC dealer mechanic, according to the seller, who states that the factory cylinder head was machined and rebuilt, while the pistons, water pump, and radiator were replaced. The engine oil was changed in May 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
