When spooky season calls, the cats answer…

Cats, especially our cats, have never been big fans of summer. They don’t care for the heat, the AC that’s always on, and the fact that their hoomans are always refusing cuddle time because it’s too hot to sit inside a blanket with two fur-covered, breathing heating pads.

So when fall starts, or as we like to call it, spooky season, our cat can tell the difference right away. They can tell when the cozy blankets finally emerge from their hiding, they celebrate the turning off of the AC, and they thrive when the sun goes down and the coziness begins. If you ask us, it’s definitely their favorite time of the year.

As hoomans, one thing that excites us about the end of summer and the start of fall is all the decorations, especially for Halloween. We know there’s technically still time, but we always prefer being prepared and ready for our favorite holiday, rather than getting stuck with last minute decoration on the last week of October… In fact, we are not ashamed to admit that we even bought our cats their costumes already, and we plan on having a cute little photoshoot with them just as soon as it’s socially acceptable to do so. It’s only a matter of days as far as we’re concerned. 

While we prepare for this wonderful time, and our cats make themselves all nice and cozy in the blankets they missed so much, we also feel the need to whip out some of the best activities to do as fall graces our homes. The most purrfect activity we always turn to is going through some of our favorite cat memes and enjoying them with a nice, hot cup of tea.
