This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner hardtop has been modified with an overbored 440ci V8, which is linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The engine is augmented by Eagle internals, a Lunati camshaft, Edelbrock cylinder heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator, and TTi exhaust headers. The car is said to have been refurbished in 2018, and it is finished in yellow over black vinyl. Equipment includes a scooped fiberglass hood, American Racing 15” wheels, staggered-width Mickey Thompson tires, drum brakes, a Hurst shifter, a Bosch tachometer, and a Pioneer stereo. The selling dealer acquired the vehicle in August 2026. This modified Road Runner is now offered with a Colorado title.

The 440ci V8 originated in a 1968 Chrysler product, and it reportedly has been bored .055″ over for a calculated displacement of 451ci and was installed in this vehicle in 2018. The engine is complemented by the following components:
- Eagle Specialty Products forged crankshaft
- Eagle Specialty Products H-beam connecting rods
- Eagle Specialty Products forged pistons
- Hastings cast-iron piston rings
- Clevite 77 bearings
- Automotive Racing Products bolts
- Lunati Voodoo camshaft
- Edelbrock “Stage 2” aluminum ported cylinder heads
- Edelbrock intake manifold
- Holley 750-cfm double-pumper carburetor with #73 jets
- Mopar Performance air cleaner
- Mopar Performance rocker covers
- Champion aluminum radiator
- TTi Performance exhaust headers
The car’s chassis number indicates that it was originally powered by a 383ci V8.

The Plymouth was repainted in yellow during the aforementioned refurbishment, according to the seller. The black fiberglass hood has a scoop and securing pins. Other exterior features include Road Runner graphics, dual side mirrors, rectangular side-marker lights, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets that exit below the rear bumper. Paint imperfections are pictured in the gallery below.

American Racing 15” wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires measuring 26×6.00″ in front and 26×12.00″ at the rear. The drum brakes and the steering are unassisted.

The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Appointments include a white-knob Hurst shifter, a Pioneer Mixtrax stereo, a heater, seatbelts, Road Runner–branded rubber floor mats, and bright doorsill plates.

The three-spoke steering wheel has a Road Runner “Beep! Beep!” center cap and a horn ring. Instrumentation consists of a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary readouts for alternator status, fuel level, and coolant temperature. A Bosch tachometer is affixed to the steering column. Autogage readouts for water temperature and oil pressure are stationed beneath the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 10 of which were added by the selling dealer.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, a Ram Clutches 11″ clutch, and a limited-slip differential.
The Colorado title carries a “VIN reissued” brand and notes the odometer reading as Exempt.
