Juventus has opened preliminary contract talks with Pierre Kalulu, Francisco Conceição and Nicolás González, according to Mirko Di Natale. The reporter’s September 9 update identifies the three players as renewal priorities, with initial discussions underway over their futures in Turin.

The existing contracts give Juventus room to work. Kalulu is tied to the club until June 2029, while Conceição signed through June 2030 when his transfer from Porto became permanent. Neither player is approaching the final season of his deal.

Juventus completed Kalulu’s permanent signing in June 2025 after his loan from AC Milan. The French defender had made 39 appearances in his first campaign, establishing himself in the starting lineup and scoring away to Atalanta. His ability to play centrally or at right-back gives the defense useful flexibility.

Conceição’s permanent contract followed in July 2025. Across his debut campaign and the Club World Cup, the Portuguese winger made 40 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. That included two goals against Al-Ain in Juventus’s opening game of the tournament.

His contribution extended beyond those returns. Juventus recorded 71 successful dribbles from Conceição during that spell, with only Kenan Yıldız completing more among his teammates. Retaining that ability to beat a defender would preserve an attacking option the club had already committed to keeping for several seasons.

González has also contributed to Juventus’s current campaign. The Argentine opened the scoring in the 5-0 Europa League win over NEC Nijmegen on September 17, putting the home side ahead after nine minutes.

Taken together, the reported discussions suggest Juventus is considering continuity across its defense and attack. For Kalulu and Conceição, any extension would build on permanent deals completed last year, with the club already holding several seasons of contractual protection.
