This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was refurbished in 2019 and sold on BaT in December 2021, and the selling dealer tells us that they acquired it from the auction winner in 2026. The car is refinished in blue over blue and powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional features include a removable hardtop, 15″ turbine-style wheels with three-eared knock-off spinners, and concealed headlights. This C2 convertible is offered by the selling dealer with an owner’s manual and a clean Florida title.
The fiberglass body is finished in Silver Blue (912) and was refinished during the aforementioned refurbishment. Additional work included replacing the windshield, rocker moldings, mirrors, badging, and lenses. The car has a removable hardtop, but no soft top. Additional equipment includes flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance. There are two paint chips on the left front fender, and the seller notes that the right rear bumperette has a duller finish than the other bumperettes. Close-up photos are shown in the gallery.
The 15″ turbine-style wheels wear three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial tires measuring 205/75. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The bucket seats were retrimmed in blue vinyl, and they are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include an analog clock, lap belts, and a chrome shifter with a T-handle reverse lockout. The radio does not work. The parking brake handle is not installed, but it is included in the sale.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 78k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 was installed and rebuilt before the previous BaT auction. It has a four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and an aluminum radiator. The starter has been replaced since 2021, though it is noted to make a chirp on start-up.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
