This 1985 Ford Mustang GT hatchback is one of 90 Twister II examples produced for the model year in collaboration with Ford’s Kansas City District Sales Office. Finished in Bright Red with Twister II side graphics, the car was purchased by the seller in 2014 and is powered by a replacement 302ci Windsor V8 that was installed in 2015. Shifting is handled via a five-speed manual transmission, and features include a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential, 15″ alloy wheels, articulated front sport seats, cruise control, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning. This Twister II is offered with a Carfax report and a clean Iowa title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Bright Red (2R) and was refinished in 2024, at which time the doors and a portion of the rear hatch were reportedly replaced. Exterior details include Twister II side graphics, a rear spoiler, and black trim. A December 1993 entry on the Carfax report lists fire damage to the passenger area. The 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with Accelera tires. The car is equipped with power steering. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

The articulated front sport seats are upholstered in two-tone gray cloth with red piping. Replacement carpeting has been fitted, and amenities include articulated front sport seats, cruise control, a cassette stereo, a tilting steering column, power windows, and air conditioning, which is said to have a refrigerant leak. There is a crack in the dashboard.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for amperage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 97k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. The fuel level gauge is not accurate.

The high-output 302ci Windsor V8 is said to be a replacement unit that was installed in 2015, ~6k miles ago.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential.

The Marti report lists factory equipment and a build date of September 1984.

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned December 1993 fire damage.
