This 1995 black-over-black Porsche 911 Carrera 4 cabriolet was registered in Texas, Florida, and California before it was listed on BaT in August 2017, and its air-cooled flat-six was overhauled to displace 3.8 liters under previous ownership. The car has been retrofitted with a VarioRam intake system, a Motor Sound Package airbox, coilover suspension, and 18″ RUF alloy wheels, and equipment includes a rebuilt six-speed manual transaxle, a black soft top, cruise control, air conditioning, replacement leather upholstery, and an Alpine Bluetooth stereo head unit. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2026, and it now shows 67k miles. This 993 C4 cabriolet is now offered in New Jersey by the seller on behalf of the owner, a Florida retail dealer, with a window sticker, a binder of records, a clean Carfax report, and a New York title.
The car is finished in black (L741) and features a power-retractable black soft top as well as headlight washers, fog lights, heated power-adjustable mirrors, black rear bumperettes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and a “basket handle” fixed rear spoiler with an integrated third brake light. Scuffs on the rear soft top window are shown in the gallery, along with close-up photos of the paint and trim condition.
The car rides on a revised suspension with coilovers at all four corners, and 18″ RUF alloy wheels have been installed. Traction is provided by staggered-width General G-Max tires, and the car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD) and a multi-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by silver-finished Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. Curb marks are visible on three of the wheels.
The power-adjustable front seats were reupholstered in black leather under previous ownership, and the headliner has been replaced. Additional appointments include an Alpine Bluetooth stereo head unit, Porsche-branded floor mats, cruise control, and air conditioning. There is a tear in one of the rear seat bottoms. A wind deflector is included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 67k miles.
The 3.6L flat-six engine was rebuilt to displace 3.8 liters in 2014 by 911 Design in Montclair, California. Work included fitting Mahle pistons and cylinders, adding a VarioRam intake system, installing a remapped engine management chip, and replacing the engine sound pad. A Motor Sound Package air box has been installed.
The six-speed manual transaxle was overhauled with replacement synchros during the refresh.
