This 1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo was purchased by the current owner in 1999 and is powered by a turbocharged 2.2-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Finished in Monaco White with gray rocker panels, the car is equipped with HIRO Performance coilover suspension, 15″ seven-spoke OZ alloy wheels, disc brakes, a sunroof, a rear wing, pop-up headlights, and fog lights, The interior features blue and black leather upholstery, power windows, and a Sony CD stereo linked to Focal speakers. This Esprit shows 27k mies and is offered with two service manuals, glass and fiberglass roof panels, spare parts, a car cover, a damage-free Carfax report and a Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Monaco White (A21), and exterior details include a sunroof, a rear wing, pop-up headlights, fog lights, and a retractable antenna. The passenger-side headlight motor was replaced in 2015. A crack in the front spoiler has been repaired, and the passenger mirror is fixed in its current position. The silver 15″ seven-spoke OZ alloy wheels are mounted with Hankook Kinergy ST tires, while braking is handled by ventilated front and solid inboard rear discs. The tires were replaced and the brake fluid flushed in September 2025. HIRO Performance coilover suspension was installed in August 2026.

The bucket seats are trimmed in blue leather with black accents, and interior equipment includes power windows, a Sony stereo, and Focal speakers. The driver’s door bushings were replaced in 2013, the window switches were replaced in 2024, and the sunroof gasket and driver’s door gasket were replaced in 2026. Water stains and a tear are noted on the headliner. The air conditioning does not blow cold.

Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, boost pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 27k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted turbocharged DOHC 2.2-liter inline-four was factory rated at 215 horsepower. The oil was last changed in September 2025. The seller notes that a spare oil drain plug and air filters are included in the sale along with two service manuals.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. The rear main seal and clutch assembly were reportedly replaced in 2013.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage. A March 1999 entry notes that an “Exceeds Mechanical Limits” title was issued to this vehicle in error and the current Colorado title displays an “Actual Mileage” notation.
