This 1954 Chevrolet 3100 panel truck was modified under current ownership with a custom frame, a rebuilt 454ci V8 linked with a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission and an NP205 dual-range transfer case, and a lifted suspension. The body is refinished in metallic silver and gray with custom graphics over two-tone gray vinyl upholstery, and additional equipment includes an Edelbrock carburetor, 15″ American Racing aluminum wheels with 35″ BFG tires, Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, contemporary front bucket seats, an Ididit tilt steering column, aftermarket instrumentation, a Lokar shifter, and a RetroSound stereo. This modified 3100 panel truck was acquired by the seller in 2022 and is now offered with an owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a vehicle cover, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The panel body was refinished in metallic silver and gray base in 2025, and custom pinstriping and cartoon graphics were subsequently painted. Exterior features include a sun visor, replacement emblems, a chrome grille, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, running boards, aftermarket lighting, and keyless entry fob activation for the rear cargo doors. The weatherstripping was replaced, and the seller notes that the doors require firm closing. The backup lights do not work, and imperfections are shown up close in the gallery.

The suspension components are said to have been sourced from a 1986 Chevrolet K5 Blazer, and it also utilizes a Rough Country 4″ lift kit. Polished 15″ American Racing aluminum wheels are mounted with 35×12.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A radial tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel discs with braided stainless-steel lines, and the truck is equipped with power steering and twin-ram steering stabilizers.

The cabin features bucket seats sourced from a 2008 GMC truck upholstered in two-tone gray vinyl. Appointments include a Lokar floor shifter, twin transfer case shifters, a Retro-Sound Bluetooth-capable stereo, aftermarket speakers, seatbelts, and a glovebox. The driver’s power seat adjustment does not work, and the truck is not equipped with a heater or defroster.

A flat-bottomed billet steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit tilt steering column ahead of aftermarket instrumentation. The fuel level gauge is inaccurate. The digital odometer shows 356 miles. Total mileage is unknown.

The seller tells us that the 454ci V8 was first installed in 2023 and then rebuilt in 2024. It sits ahead of a modified firewall and is equipped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Weiand Street Warrior intake manifold, and a four-core aluminum radiator with an electric cooling. The car is wired with American Autowire wiring harness.

A Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission was sourced from FB Performance in 2018 and linked with a dual-range NP205 transfer case, and both were rebuilt in 2024. The custom frame was fabricated using 2×6″ steel rails with custom crossmembers and body mounts. An onboard air compressor is mounted on the underside of the truck, but the wiring connection has not been completed.

The truck is titled to the VIN stamp shown above, which is consistent with a 1954 Chevrolet 3100.
