China’s U23+ doing well at the 2026 Asian Games. They will face South Korea in the semi-finals.
This is the same U23 the got 2nd place in the 2026 U23 Asia Cup.
Its the team they are hoping will get into the 2028 Olympics.
This U23 team also forms the core of the 2030 world cup campaign plans.
The senior team, playing without these U23 players, recently lost to New Zealand 3-0, showing how much China depends on these U23 players to form the bsckbone of the senior National Team. Thankfully its a very strong backbone.
