This 1974 Jeep CJ-5 Renegade was refinished in Renegade Plum, and Rugged Ridge front bucket seats were installed approximately three years ago. Power is provided by a 304ci V8 linked to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes 15″ white-painted wheels, manually locking front hubs, Rancho shocks, a removable black canvas soft top, a roll bar, a WARN winch, LED auxiliary lights, and a JVC head unit. This CJ-5 is now offered by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner with a clean Colorado title.
The truck left the factory finished in Renegade Plum (509) and was refinished approximately three years ago, per the selling dealer. It features accent stripes, a black canvas soft top, a WARN winch, removable soft doors, LED auxiliary lights, side steps, a tow ball, and a chrome-finished grille, rocker guards, and mirror caps. The soft top was replaced at the time of the repaint.
The 15″ white-painted wheels are wrapped in Firestone Radial ATX tires, and a covered spare is mounted at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums. Rancho shocks were installed, and the tires were said to have been replaced in 2024
The Rugged Ridge front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl. The front seats, dash pad, and carpets were installed in 2023. Additional appointments include a locking center console, cup holders, a JVC head unit, and a roll bar. The heater box is not currently installed but is included in the sale.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 90-mph speedometer with inset gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature, along with readouts for voltage and oil pressure. A Lev-O-Gage is installed above the speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles. The fuel level sender was replaced in 2025, per the selling dealer. The coolant temperature gauge does not work.
The 304ci V8 was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 245 lb-ft of torque. An aluminum radiator and Edelbrock valve covers have been added, along with a custom exhaust system that exits ahead of the rear wheels on both sides. The spark plugs and wires were said to have been replaced in 2023.
Power is sent through a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range Dana transfer case. Chrome-finished differential covers have been added.
