50k-Mile 2001 Mercedes-Benz SL500 at No Reserve

This 2001 Mercedes-Benz SL500 has 50k miles and is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over Black Nappa leather. Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, a Black soft top, 18″ five-spoke AMG wheels, headlamp wipers, a deployable roll bar, heated power-adjustable seats, seat-position memory settings, a cassette stereo, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, and a heated rear hardtop window. This R129 is now offered in Texas by the selling dealer at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a Florida title.

The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and is equipped with a matching removable hardtop, as well as a black soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes fog lights, headlamp wipers, and fender air vents. The convertible top hydraulic cylinders were replaced in January 2023. The selling dealer notes signs of previous paintwork.

This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in September 2026 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.

The 18″ five-spoke AMG wheels are mounted with a mixed set of tires, reportedly showing date codes from 2014 and 2018. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ABS.

The heated power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Black Nappa leather (231A), and burl wood accents the doors and center stack. Amenities include a deployable roll bar, seat-position memory settings, a cassette stereo, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, a heated rear hardtop window, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 50k miles.

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
