This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop left the St. Louis, Missouri, factory finished in Shadow Gray and Coral, and it was purchased by the seller’s father in 2007. The car is powered by a 265ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission and is also equipped with body-color wheels, wire-spoke hubcaps, power steering, chrome bumpers, a Continental kit, rear wheel skirts, and hooded headlights. The cabin has color-keyed upholstery along with a split-folding front bench seat, plastic seat covers, a heater/defroster, bowtie dashboard trim, and a retro-look cassette deck. This Bel Air is now offered by the seller on behalf of their mother with a clean Minnesota title in the names of the current owners.

The car left the factory finished in Shadow Gray and Coral, and exterior elements include hooded headlights, dual chrome mirrors, a Continental kit, quarter vent windows, rear wheel skirts, and chrome bumpers and trim. Cosmetic imperfections displayed in the gallery include a paint chip on the Continental kit, touch-up repairs on the left-front fender and lower trunk area, a dent in the right-rear window trim, and deteriorating rubber seals around both front-door vent windows. The right-rear taillight does not work.

Body-color 15” steel wheels wear wire-spoke hubcaps and Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewall tires. A covered spare is found in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by front and rear drums. Two spare tires are included in the sale, one in the Continental Kit and one in the trunk.

The cabin features a split-folding front bench seat upholstered in coral vinyl with gray inserts, and plastic covers are fitted on the front and rear seats. Appointments include bowtie dashboard trim, a heater/defroster, and a retro-look cassette deck.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and has a chrome horn ring. Instrumentation includes a 110-mph speedometer along with readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 62k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The 265ci V8 wears orange Chevrolet-script valve covers, and it breathes through an oil-bath air cleaner assembly. Periodic fluid services were performed during current ownership, per the seller.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed automatic transmission. Rust is noted on underbody surfaces.
