Supercharged 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 6-Speed

This 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon was purchased in 2014 by the seller, who is the third owner and sent it to Ripp Superchargers of Staten Island, New York, to be fitted with a supercharger system in 2016. The company also used the truck to develop their larger intercooler for the JK-series Jeep, and a prototype version of the part has been fitted to the 3.6-liter V6, which is linked with a six-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and Tru-Lok locking front and rear differentials. It was specified in Cosmos Blue over black patterned cloth and has been driven 56k miles. Riding on a lifted suspension and 17″ five-spoke wheels, it also features a Spec Stage 2 clutch, custom half doors, a Warn winch, aftermarket bumpers, and PowerBass tweeters. This supercharged JK Wrangler Unlimited is now offered with a reproduction window sticker, the owner’s manual, a 2016 service record, accessories, removed parts, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

Ripp Superchargers of Staten Island, New York, used the truck as a development vehicle for their larger intercooler for the JK-series Jeep. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 was fitted with a supercharger system and revised engine management from the company in February 2016 at a cost of $3,500 along with a prototype intercooler and piping. A video of the truck on a dynamometer is displayed in the gallery below, and in it, Ripp Superchargers notes a peak output of approximately 367 horsepower and almost 350 lb-ft of torque.

The truck is finished in Cosmos Blue (PB4) with a body-color grille as well as a black-finished three-piece removable hardtop, a soft top, and SpiderwebShade bimini top. The aftermarket front bumper features a push bar, a Warn Zeon 10-S winch, a D-ring shackle, and KC HiLiTES auxiliary lights, while the revised rear bumper has a receiver hitch and two D-ring shackles. Additional revisions include LED headlights, aftermarket pod lights and fender flares.

The seller custom-made half doors, and the removed full metal doors are included in the sale along with removable side windows.

The truck rides on a lifted suspension and 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, the latter of which are mounted with 37×12.50″ BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tires. It is further equipped with an electronic front sway bar disconnect.

The front bucket seats and 60/40 folding rear bench trimmed in Black cloth with patterned inserts, while Quadratec rubber mats line the footwells and rear cargo area. Grab handles are affixed to the padded roll bar and front seats, and additional amenities include an Infinity sound system with a subwoofer, PowerBass tweeters, auxiliary switches, and a Superchips TrailDash 3 monitor.

Instrumentation framed by the leather-wrapped steering wheel includes a 100-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline as well as auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 56k miles, approximately 30k of which were added under current ownership.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Rock-Trac dual-range transfer case. The truck came equipped from the factory with Tru-Lok locking front and rear differentials, and it has been modified with a Spec Stage 2 clutch.

The owner’s manual is included in the sale along with a reproduction window sticker, a service record for the supercharger installation, a DiabloSport tuner, and a hardtop panel storage bag.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. It also lists at least one open recall.
