2001 Mercedes-Benz Hamann G500

This 2001 Mercedes-Benz G500 is said to have been modified by Hamann Motorsports with the installation of unique body panels, Brembo disc brakes, forged 24″ multi-piece wheels, and a custom exhaust system. It was produced for the Middle Eastern market and later spent time in Japan, where it was acquired by the current owner in 2026 and subsequently imported to the US by the selling dealer. Finished in matte black with red accents, the truck is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 linked with a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front, center, and rear differentials. Inside, the heated power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in black leather with camouflage-pattern inserts and are complemented by carbon-fiber trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, a smart car DVR, and a touchscreen Alpine head unit. This Hamann G500 indicates 107k kilometers (~67k miles) and is now offered by the selling dealer on behalf of the owner with import documents, a CarVX report, and a clean Florida title.

The truck is finished in matte black with red accents and features Hamann-specific body panels, which include hood scoops, a rear wing, and revised fender flares and front and rear fascias. Details include a sunroof, LED headlights, fog lights, running boards, Hamann badges, window tint film, and a rear window wiper.

Forged 24″ Hamann wheels are wrapped in 305/35 Nankang tires. Braking is provided by Brembo calipers over cross-drilled multi-piece rotors at all four corners. Service in June 2026 involved replacing the suspension springs, front shock absorber boots, stabilizer bar and endlink bushings, tie rod ends, and ball joints.

The heated power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in black leather with camouflage-pattern inserts, orange stitching, and custom embroidery, and color-matching material extends to the rear seats. A smart car DVR has been installed atop the dashboard, and amenities include carbon-fiber trim, anodized aluminum pedals, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, and a touchscreen Alpine head unit. The air conditioning system was serviced in June 2026.

The multifunction steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and features a Hamann center emblem. Instrumentation includes a 240-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a fuel level gauge. The digital odometer indicates 107k kilometers (~67k miles).

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 291 horsepower and 336 lb-ft of torque. The fluids were changed, and the spark plugs and valve cover gaskets were replaced in June 2026.

Power is routed to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front, center, and rear differentials. A custom stainless-steel exhaust system with three outlets per side that exits ahead of the rear wheels has been installed. Service under current ownership involved changing the fluids and replacing the front differential carrier and rear differential cover.

An August 2026 copy of the CarVX report is included in the sale and shown in the gallery below.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
