This 2005 Harley-Davidson V-Rod wears a silver and black checkered-flag scheme with flame graphics, and its bodywork is adorned with signatures including those of the drivers taking part in the 2005 NASCAR Daytona 500 and Kyle Petty. The bike was purchased by the seller’s father while participating in the 2005 Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, and ownership passed to the seller in 2025. Power is provided by a liquid-cooled 1,130cc Revolution V-twin paired with a five-speed transmission, and equipment includes a drive belt, electronic fuel injection, a dual exhaust system, a 49mm telescopic fork, chrome-finished preload-adjustable rear shocks, triple disc brakes, solid alloy wheels, a black seat, forward foot controls, bright belt guards, and a side stand. Now indicating 191 miles, this VRSCA is offered at no reserve with Connecticut registration in the seller’s name. The winning bid, including the BaT buyer’s fee, will be donated to the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America.

The bodywork is finished in a silver and black checkered-flag scheme with flame graphics, and a document presented in the gallery from Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson of Maryville, Tennessee, lists the NASCAR drivers reported to have signed the bike. The seller tells us that a Kyle Petty signature also appears. Features include a powder-coated double-cradle frame, a black seat, forward foot controls, bright belt guards, and a side stand.

Solid alloy wheels measuring 19″ up front and 18″ out back are wrapped in Dunlop tires that are not known to have been replaced. Showa suspension consists of a 49mm telescopic fork in addition to dual chrome-finished preload-adjustable shocks attached to the polished aluminum swingarm. The dual front disc brakes and the single rear disc brake each feature a 292mm drilled rotor and a four-piston caliper.

The handlebar is mounted beneath the instrument panel, which contains a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline, and a fuel-level gauge. The digital odometer displays 191 miles.

The liquid-cooled 1,130cc Revolution V-twin was co-developed with Porsche and is finished in a gray powder coat with polished accents. Additional features include sequential port fuel injection, dual overhead camshafts with four valves per cylinder, and a dual exhaust system. The battery was changed in November 2025.

Power is routed to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a drive belt.
The motorcycle does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for vehicles of its age. It is being sold on its Connecticut registration, which displays “Historical” and “Antique” in the Plate Class and Registered Usage sections, respectively.
Proceeds will go to the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that organizes an annual, cross-country motorcycle ride that travels to raise awareness and funds for Victory Junction, a camp created to enrich the lives of children with chronic or life-threatening medical illnesses.
