350-Powered 1973 Triumph TR6 5-Speed at No Reserve

This 1973 Triumph TR6 received an overbored fuel-injected 350ci V8 with aluminum cylinder heads along with a five-speed manual transmission under previous ownership, at which time the body and removable hardtop were repainted yellow, and the bucket seats were retrimmed in black vinyl with perforated inserts. Equipment includes dual roll hoops, a custom dual exhaust system, an aluminum radiator and fuel cell, Crow four-point harnesses, and Classic Instruments gauges. The car was listed on BaT in October 2023 before being acquired by the current owner, after which the decals were removed, the paint was sanded and polished, and a ceramic coating was applied. This TR6 is now offered at no reserve on consignment by Adam’s Motors, a BaT Local Parter, with a clean Montana title.

Finished from the factory in Pimento Red, the car was painted yellow under previous ownership following the replacement of the rear quarter panels. The hardtop is finished to match the body, and the bumpers and tail panel were refinished in black. Following the current owner’s acquisition, the decals and stripes were removed, the paint was color-sanded and polished, and a ceramic coating was applied. No soft top is installed.

Black-finished 15″ wheels feature TR6-logo center caps and are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. Larger-diameter slotted front brake rotors reportedly are fitted along with aftermarket bushings and steering components. The ride height has been lowered with spring compressors, and KYB shocks have been installed.

The bucket seats were reupholstered in black vinyl with perforated inserts under previous ownership, and Crow four-point harnesses have been installed along with dual roll hoops and an aluminum panel in the center stack.

The aftermarket steering wheel sits ahead of a wood dash panel housing a replacement 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 730 miles, approximately 30 of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.

The TPI 350ci V8 was reportedly bored .030″ over and fitted with aluminum cylinder heads and larger valves as well as a Comp Cams camshaft and an aluminum radiator.

An aluminum fuel cell has been installed in the trunk, which also houses the relocated battery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission that was reportedly sourced from a Chevrolet S-10. The car has an aluminum differential cover and a custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The differential lubricant was changed under current ownership.
