These Weber 40 IDTP carburetors were made in Italy and are of the type originally fitted to certain Porsches with flat-six engines in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The seller reports that the units were stripped down and vapor blasted before the aluminum bodies were re-alodined and the steel parts were re-plated. The throttle shafts, plates, accelerator-pump levers, axe-head cams, seals, and gaskets were replaced, and the brass components were polished or replaced as needed before the carburetors were tested on a running engine. These carburetors are offered at no reserve in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Both bodies bear identification marks that indicate production by Weber in Italy. The 40 IDTP 13C carries serial number 4626, while the 40 IDTP 13C1 bears serial number 729.

The seller reports that these 40mm triple-throat, downdraft carburetors feature Nitrophyl floats, F26 emulsion tubes, 125 main air jets, 170 main air-correction jets, 50 idle jets, and 30mm venturis.
