1,000+ HP, Turbocharged 2003 Lexus IS300 6-Speed

This 2003 Lexus IS300 is a Canadian-market sedan that was the subject of a custom build following the seller’s acquisition in 2020, with work that is noted to have involved installing a built 3.0L 2JZ-GE inline-six equipped with a single Precision 6870 turbocharger, Manley 9.0:1 pistons, I-beam connecting rods, Kelford camshafts, an AEM Infinity standalone engine management system, and more as outlined below. A subsequent Dynapack test resulted in a peak output of 1,007 horsepower and 716 lb-ft of torque, which is delivered to the Ford 8.8″ limited-slip differential through a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission. Riding on 18″ Rays Gram Lights wheels as well as FIGS Engineering suspension components, the car is further equipped with wide-body panels, revised exterior lighting, a Sparco steering wheel and driver’s seat, an AEM CD-7 dash display, a Wilwood vertical handbrake lever, and a touchscreen Pioneer head unit. This modified XE10 IS300 sedan is now offered in Canada with an accident-free Carfax report and Ontario registration.

The car was finished from the factory in Intensa Blue Pearl (8N8) and has been fitted with wide-body panels. Additional details include a revised front bumper cover, a Seibon carbon-fiber hood, xenon headlights, Super Bright LED fog lights, and a rear spoiler. The seller notes that paint protection film has been applied to the vehicle.

The 18″ Rays Gram Lights wheels are wrapped in 265/35 front and 295/30 rear Yokohama Advan Neova tires. A Cusco carbon-fiber front strut-tower brace has been fitted, and the seller tells us that FIGS Engineering National Championship suspension and Proangle steering kits have been installed along with Hotchkis sway bars. The brakes have been modified utilizing Porsche-branded calipers over two-piece carbon-ceramic rotors up front, paired with green-finished calipers over cross-drilled discs out back.

The cockpit has been fitted with a fixed-back Sparco QRT-R driver’s racing seat wrapped in black cloth, joined by a factory passenger-front bucket seat and rear bench wearing black leather with microsuede inserts. The air conditioning system has been retained, and a Wilwood vertical handbrake lever and master cylinder have been installed, along with aftermarket horns, a backup camera, a touchscreen Pioneer head unit, and an AEM rotary dial used to switch between various ECU tunes. The battery has been relocated to the trunk, which also houses a catch can.

The Sparco steering wheel mounts on a quick-release hub and frames an AEM CD-7 digital display with an odometer reading of 2k miles. Additional Revel VLS gauges for monitoring air/fuel ratio, boost pressure, and intake temperature are stationed atop the center stack. A mileage inconsistency is listed on the Carfax report in July 2018, and the seller tells us the chassis has approximately 200k miles.

The 3.0L 2JZ-GE inline-six is said to have been replaced by Dynamotorsports of North York, Ontario, and bored .010″ over, at which time the main caps were line-bored. A single Precision 6870 Gen 2 turbocharger has been installed, and the seller tells us the build also includes the following components:

  • Manley Turbo Tuff 9.0:1 compression pistons
  • Manley I-Beam connecting rods
  • ARP hardware
  • Titan Motorsports billet main caps
  • Kelford Cams 272/278-duration camshafts
  • Titan Motorsports exhaust camshaft gear
  • Supertech valves
  • Brian Crower springs & titanium retainers
  • Street port GE cylinder head
  • IGN1A ignition coils
  • Boosted JZ Racing titanium intake manifold w/85mm throttle body
  • Remote-mounted Driftmotion idle air control valve
  • Custom front-mount intercooler
  • AEM Infinity standalone engine control unit
  • Wiring Specialties wiring harness
  • Powerhouse Racing fuel hanger w/dual Walbro 525 pumps
  • Injector Dynamics ID1600X fuel injectors

Dynamometer test results from October 2025 indicate a peak output of 1,007 horsepower and 716 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels while tuned on E98 race fuel.

The factory W55 five-speed was removed and reportedly replaced with a Grannas Racing kit, which included a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission. Additional modifications are noted to include a Grannas Racing bellhousing, a McLeod RXT 1200 twin-disc clutch, a Tilton release bearing, a carbon-fiber driveshaft, The Drive Shaft Shop axles, and a revised Ford-sourced 8.8″ limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 gears. A stainless-steel 3.5″ exhaust system with a valved muffler has been installed. Corrosion-protection spray has been applied to the underside.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned mileage inconsistency.

The vehicle is being sold on its Ontario registration, which serves as the ownership document in Ontario, Canada.
