2,300-Kilometer 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL500 at No Reserve

This 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL500 is a US-market example that was initially delivered to AutoBahn Motors in Belmont, California, and was exported to Germany prior to the current owner’s acquisition in 2019. The car has 2,300 kilometers (~1,400 miles) and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over Grey Nappa leather. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, a black soft top, 17″ Albali wheels, xenon headlights, fog lights, heated power-adjustable seats, a Bose sound system, and automatic climate control. This R129 is now offered at no reserve in Norway on dealer consignment as part of the Bjarøy Classic Collection from Autonero with the owner’s manual and Norwegian registration.

The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features a matching removable hardtop as well as a black soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes xenon headlights, fog lights, and fender air vents.

The 17″ Albali wheels are mounted with Dunlop tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ABS.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable seats upholstered in Grey Nappa leather (238A) along with burl wood accents on the doors and center stack. Amenities include a deployable roll bar, seat-position memory settings, a Bose sound system, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 260-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 2,300 kilometers (~1,400 miles), approximately 550 kilometers (~300 miles) of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.

Additional photos of the undercarriage are provided in the gallery.

The car is being sold on its Norwegian registration, which serves as the ownership document in Norway.
