This 1998 Land Rover Defender 90 received a cosmetic refurbishment in Italy prior to being imported to the US in 2025. Work included an exterior repaint in green, a re-trimmed caramel leather interior accented with diamond-pattern stitching, and a replacement tan soft top. Power comes from a turbodiesel 2.5-liter 300Tdi inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Additional equipment includes 16″ body-color steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, LED exterior lighting, tubular side steps, inward-facing rear benches, and a rear-mounted spare. Acquired by the seller in 2024, this Defender 90 is now offered in California with import documentation, a clean Carfax report, and a Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC that lists the model year as 1999.

The truck was refinished in green before being imported to the US in 2025. It features a tan soft top, LED lighting, tubular side steps, and a folding step and tow ball at the rear.

Body-color 16″ steel wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich tires, and a matching spare is affixed to a rear swing-away carrier. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at each corner.

The cabin has been reupholstered in caramel leather, and it features twin front seats, and a matching center console and inward-facing rear benches.

Instrumentation consists of a 150-km/h speedometer and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 212k kilometers (~132k miles), approximately 1k miles of which were added under current ownership.

The turbodiesel 2.5-liter 300Tdi inline-four sends power to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential.

Additional photos of the undercarriage are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage from an initial entry in December 2025.
The truck is titled in Montana but located in California. It has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair or passed a California emissions test. The Montana title notes “Exempt” under the Odometer heading.
