This 2003 BMW 330i sedan was optioned with the ZHP Performance Package, and it was periodically autocrossed by its second owner between 2007 and the current owner’s purchase in 2024. The factory inline-six suffered damage during a track event in 2024, and subsequent work included sourcing, disassembling, and rebuilding a replacement M54 inline-six with oversized pistons, WPC-treated bearings, ARP rod bolts, a GSR oil pump, a BimmerWorld VANOS rebuilt kit, and more. Finished in red with a vinyl wrap, the car has been further modified with a single-mass flywheel, MagnaFlow exhaust components, H&R lowering springs, Vorschlag front camber plates, a Hotchkis front anti-sway bar, revised suspension bushings, Schroth Racing harnesses, and a Sony Bluetooth head unit. This ZHP has 238k miles and is now offered at no reserve with engine build photos and spreadsheets, service records, two keys, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the owner’s name.

The car was finished in Imola Red from the factory and features an aerodynamic package that includes revised bumper covers and side skirts in addition to refinished black Shadowline trim. The seller tells us that a red vinyl wrap has been applied to the exterior and a replacement windshield has been installed. Additional appointments include retrofitted front and rear tow straps as well as a sunroof, xenon headlights, fog lights, and power-adjustable side mirrors. Imperfections in the vinyl wrap are viewable in the photo gallery below. The Carfax report lists “very minor damage” reported in a June 2018 entry, though no additional information is available.

The car rides on a revised and lowered suspension with H&R springs, Vorschlag front camber plates, a Hotchkis front anti-sway bar, and heavy-duty control arm bushings, front and rear strut mounts, and anti-sway bar end links. Braided stainless-steel brake hoses have been installed, along with PFC 331 front and PFC 332 rear brake pads, according to the seller. The brake fluid was most recently flushed in November 2025. The silver 18″ M Double Spoke alloy wheels were refurbished in June 2026, according to the seller, and they are mounted with staggered-width Hankook Ventus RS4 tires.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in black leather, along with silver cube aluminum trim accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Schroth Racing front harnesses have been installed, along with a Sony Bluetooth stereo head unit. Further appointments included a Harman Kardon sound system, automatic climate control, and power windows and locks. A replacement rearview mirror is said to have been installed. The headliner is beginning to sag above the rear seat, deteriorating fabric has been removed from the A-pillar trim, and additional photos of the interior condition are viewable in the gallery below.

A leather-wrapped M3-specification steering wheel was installed under current ownership, and it frames a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and instant fuel economy. The digital odometer indicates 238k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. The steering wheel audio controls do not work with the aftermarket head unit.

The seller tells us that the factory 3.0-liter M54 inline-six was damaged following an oil pump nut failure during a track event in October 2024. A replacement M54 inline-six was subsequently sourced and disassembled, and further work included honing and machining the block, rebuilding the cylinder head, installing Time-Serts for the head bolt threads, and reassembly with Mahle oversize PowerPak pistons, BimmerWorld WPC-treated main and rod bearings, ARP rod bolts, a GSR oil pump, an oil-pan baffle, a Febi Bilstein harmonic balancer, and a BimmerWorld VANOS rebuilt kit. The fuel injectors were serviced, an Epic Motorsports engine computer tune was installed, and the following replacement components were installed:
- Main cap & head bolts
- Hydraulic lifters
- Timing chain & guides
- Revised water pump
- Thermostat
- Engine gaskets, seals, & O-rings
- VANOS solenoids
- Sensors
- Spark plugs
- Ignition coils
- Alternator & starter
- Oxygen sensors
- Mass air-flow sensors
- Fuel pump & filter

Service in 2026 consisted of an oil change and replacing the oil level sensor. Detailed spreadsheets related to the engine build are viewable in the photo gallery, along with service records.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. A single-mass flywheel was retrofitted under current ownership, and a replacement clutch fork, slave cylinder, and ECS tuning brass clutch for pivot were installed, along with replacement shifter bushings. Additional work included overhauling the axles and driveshaft, along with replacing the driveshaft flex disc and center support bearing. The exhaust system has been modified with a MagnaFlow center resonator and rear muffler. Red Line gear oil has been used to fill the transmission and differential under current ownership.

Photos taken during various stages of the engine rebuild are viewable in the gallery below.

Manufacturer’s literature, spare vinyl exterior wrap, a binder of engine build and service records, and two keys are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage entry.
