Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has its Year One DLC roadmap, with Phoenix Cyclops leading the lineup on November 2. Thor (Jane Foster), Venom and Jubilee follow in seasonal windows through 2027, giving players a clearer picture of the game’s first stretch of post-launch support.
Arc System Works announced the four-character roster on Twitter/X alongside artwork by Marvel artist Peach Momoko. The game is available on PS5 and PC; its launch on PS5 and PC now has a first-year content plan attached.
Phoenix Cyclops opens the roadmap
The first addition is a Phoenix-powered take on Cyclops, arriving November 2 with Classic and Legacy costumes. The character combines new visuals and Optic Blasts with Dark Phoenix gameplay, according to the announcement.

Producer Takeshi Yamanaka explained in a PlayStation Blog post that the team chose this version of Cyclops to explore a fresher look and fighting style. The character was held for post-launch rather than included at launch while the team continued working until it felt the design brought something new.
The other scheduled arrivals are Thor (Jane Foster) in winter 2027, Venom in spring 2027 and Jubilee in summer 2027. Venom’s release will also bring a Klyntar stage, making that spring window the roadmap’s only announced stage addition.
Year One DLC schedule
| Content | Release window |
|---|---|
| Phoenix Cyclops and Classic and Legacy costumes | November 2 |
| Thor (Jane Foster) | Winter 2027 |
| Venom and Klyntar stage | Spring 2027 |
| Jubilee | Summer 2027 |
The characters and stage are included in the Year One Characters & Stage Pass, though each can also be purchased individually. No exact dates have been announced for Thor, Venom or Jubilee, so those seasonal windows are as precise as the schedule gets for now.
The lineup also adds more playable faces to a Marvel-focused fighting game already expanding beyond its launch roster. For readers following other Marvel multiplayer additions, Marvel Rivals’ latest playable-character news offers another look at the publisher’s crowded game roster.
