1975 Chevrolet K20 Scottsdale 4×4 4-Speed

This 1975 Chevrolet K20 Scottsdale is a ¾-ton 4×4 pickup that remained in the care of its original owner in California until it was acquired by the seller in 2025. Work since that time has involved installing an Offroad Design transfer case adapter as well as replacing the driveshafts, transmission mounts, starter, radiator, coolant hoses, ignition lock assembly, windshield, dash pad, door moldings, and rubber interior flooring. Finished in Moss Gold and Frost White over brown upholstery, the truck is powered by a 350ci V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. It rides on 16″ steel wheels and is further equipped with power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, manually locking front hubs, a receiver hitch, air conditioning, and a Delco AM/FM radio. This K20 is now offered with invoices for work performed under current ownership and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Moss Gold and Frost White and has areas of rust-through, worn paint, dents, dings, and other imperfections. The grille, along with the windshield and gasket, was replaced under current ownership. Details include a Fleetside bed, dual extended “below-eyeline” mirrors, a chrome-finished front bumper, a diamond-plate rear step bumper, and a receiver hitch.

Steel 16″ wheels with polished hubcaps are wrapped in 7.5-series Power King Extra Traction tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, manually locking front hubs, and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.

The bench seat is retrimmed in brown cloth with vinyl sides, and the dash pad, lower door moldings, and rubber flooring have been replaced. A trailer brake controller is mounted below the dash, and appointments include air conditioning, a Delco AM/FM radio, and faux woodgrain trim. The seatback upholstery seam is separating, the driver’s bolster is worn, and the door panels are oxidized.

The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames a 100-mph speedometer along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The ignition lock assembly has been replaced. The five-digit odometer shows 34k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership.

The 350ci V8 is equipped with a two-barrel Rochester carburetor and a revised intake manifold. Service in 2026 involved changing the oil and replacing the air filter, starter, radiator, coolant hoses, and fuel hose and filter. Photos of casting numbers and cylinder compression test readouts are viewable in the gallery below.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through an SM465 four-speed manual transmission, an Offroad Design heat-treated aluminum adapter, an NP205 dual-range transfer case, a Dana 44 front axle, a 14-bolt rear axle, and 4.11:1 gears. The fluids have been changed, and the driveshafts and transmission mounts were replaced in 2026.
