This Ford 351 Cleveland V8 engine was reportedly removed from a 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and purchased by the owner about 30 years ago. It was rebuilt by Automotive Parts & Machine Shop of Beavercreek, Ohio, in 2011. In preparation for the sale, Euro Classics, a BaT Local Partner, partially disassembled the engine to photograph its internal components, repainted the block and cylinder heads, and reassembled it with Clevite gaskets. The engine is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve in Dayton, Ohio.

Automotive Parts & Machine Shop decked, bored, and honed the engine block and built the engine with a SCAT crankshaft, Boss 351 connecting rods, Keith Black pistons, and a COMP Cams roller camshaft. The Boss 351 cylinder heads were rebuilt with Manley Performance 1.71″ intake and 2.25″ exhaust valves, 1.73″ roller rocker arms, and valve locks and valve springs from COMP Cams. Tall Ford Racing valve covers, an Edelbrock Torker intake manifold, an SFI harmonic balancer, and a Canton Racing Products oil pan are also installed.

The 2011 handwritten build invoice, additional handwritten and typed notes, and the 2026 inspection invoice are photographed in the gallery.

Additional photos of the engine’s internals and casting numbers are shown in the gallery. The seller notes that a shipping pallet will be provided.
