2006 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S at No Reserve

This 2006 Aston Martin Vanquish S is one of approximately 1,100 examples built between 2004 and 2007. Between 2015 and 2024, the vehicle underwent more than $78k worth of work that involved resealing the engine, replacing the clutch and the power-steering pump, refurbishing the dashboard leather, installing a QuickSilver titanium exhaust system, and servicing the electrical, cooling, braking, suspension, and differential systems. Powered by a 5.9-liter V12 linked to an electro-hydraulically operated six-speed automated transmission and a limited-slip differential, the Aston has 42k miles and is finished in Jet Black over Obsidian Black leather. Equipment includes 19″ 11-spoke alloy wheels, fog lights, a rear spoiler, heated power-adjustable front seats, a rear seat, navigation, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2026. This Vanquish S is now offered at no reserve with a binder of service records, an accident-free Carfax report, manufacturer’s literature, Aston Martin accessories, and a Texas title.

The Vanquish S shares its aluminum composite chassis and carbon-fiber backbone with the contemporary Vanquish, and revisions to the Ian Callum–penned design include a larger grille, a front splitter, and an integrated rear spoiler.

This example is finished in Jet Black and features fog lights, hood and fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. The exterior door handle on the driver side was replaced in 2013, and the door glass was realigned. The windshield-wiper arms were repainted in 2022. Photos of paint-meter readings are provided in the gallery below. The exterior was detailed in preparation for the sale.

Machined 19″ 11-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 255/40 in front and 285/40 at the rear. The wheels were color-matched in 2013, and one wheel was refinished in 2016.

The Vanquish S features a revised steering ratio as well as stiffer suspension components and shorter steering arms over the standard model. Stopping is handled by red-finished Aston Martin–branded calipers over slotted and ventilated rotors at all four corners. The rear toe links and the power-steering pump were replaced about 10 years ago, and the brake calipers were repainted. In 2017, the front brake rotors and pads were replaced, as was the brake reservoir.

The four-place cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Obsidian Black leather, which extends to the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include navigation, push-button ignition, and automatic climate control. In September 2026, the dashboard and the rear headrests were reupholstered in leather, and the interior was detailed.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel was replaced in 2015 and features paddle shifters. White-dial instrumentation consists of a 210-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 42k miles, approximately 70 of which were added by the selling dealer. The Carfax report contains a mileage inconsistency in May 2013, although the report notes that “this entry may just be a clerical error”.

The 5.9-liter V12 featured revised engine mapping, cylinder heads, and fuel injectors compared with the contemporary Vanquish, which resulted in a factory-rated output of 520 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. A QuickSilver titanium exhaust system was installed in 2016. The following service has been performed:

  • 2013
    • Replaced front-timing-cover gaskets and crankshaft seal
    • Replaced thermostat
  • 2015
    • Removed engine and resealed with replacement cylinder-head gaskets and cam-cover gaskets
    • Replaced vacuum harness
    • Replaced fuel filters
  • 2016
    • Replaced EVAP valve
    • Repaired coolant leak
  • 2022
    • Replaced key-fob batteries
  • 2024
    • Replaced ignition coils
    • Replaced intake-manifold gaskets
    • Replaced spark plugs

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an electro-hydraulically operated six-speed automated transmission and a limited-slip differential. In 2013, a hydraulic pump kit was installed. In 2015, the clutch, flywheel, and pilot bearing were replaced. In addition, the clutch-learn procedure was performed, the transmission tailshaft housing was resealed, and the differential fluid was changed.

A binder of service records is included in the sale. More than two-dozen pages of records are presented in the photo gallery.

Accessories that will accompany the vehicle include multiple keys and remotes, a battery charger, an umbrella, two tire-inflator canisters, a tow hook, an Aston Martin–branded cigarette lighter, and manufacturer’s literature.

The Carfax report is free of accidents and other damage, and it notes the aforementioned mileage inconsistency.

The Texas title lists “Exempt” under the Odometer Reading section.
