2003 BMW 525i Sport Wagon at No Reserve

This 2003 BMW 525i Sport Wagon was previously sold on BaT in December 2024 and has 49k indicated miles. Finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over gray Montana leather, the wagon is powered by a 2.5-liter M54 inline-six paired with a five-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. Equipment includes 16″ split-spoke wheels, a sunroof, heated power-adjustable front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Acquired in 2026 by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, this E39 525i wagon is offered at no reserve with a Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title.

The car is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic and features an electric sunroof, roof rails, a rear window wiper, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and fog lights. The Carfax report notes that the front and rear of the car sustained “minor damage” in September 2017 with no additional information provided. The front bumper cover has been refinished, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

The 16″ split-spoke wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S tires. The Sport Wagon was equipped from the factory with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats trimmed in gray Montana leather complemented by wood trim. Amenities include an onboard computer, dual-zone automatic climate control, a CD stereo, folding rear seats, cruise control, driver memory settings, rear side airbags, and rear side sunshades.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 49k miles. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in April 2008, though it notes that it may be the result of a clerical error.

The 2.5-liter M54B25 inline-six was factory rated at 184 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The Carfax report indicates that the water pump was replaced in 2023, and the heater valve was reportedly replaced in January 2024. The battery and alternator were replaced in 2026.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed Steptronic automatic transmission.

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned April 2008 mileage inconsistency and September 2017 damage.
