1995 Mazda MX-5 Miata M-Edition 5-Speed

This 1995 Mazda MX-5 Miata is one of 3,500 M-Edition examples produced for the model year, all of which were finished in Mica Merlot over tan leather upholstery. The car was purchased by the seller’s father some time ago, and it now shows 125k miles. Power is from a 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ BBS wheels, power steering, pop-up headlights, cruise control, a JVC stereo, and air conditioning. This NA Miata is now offered with a window sticker, service records, a car cover, a soft top boot, and a Florida title in the seller’s name.

All 1995 M-Edition examples were finished in Mica Merlot, and exterior equipment includes a replacement black convertible soft top, pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, a power antenna, a soft top boot, M-Edition badges, and a single exhaust outlet. Miata-script grille trim has been added. The Carfax report indicates that the car was “inspected after an accident or other incident” in May 2003, at which time damage was noted to the “left rear” of the body.

The 15″ BBS wheels are mounted with Kumho tires. The car is equipped with power steering, an independent double wishbone suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, and four-wheel disc brakes.

The bucket seats feature adjustable headrests and are upholstered in tan leather. Interior amenities include a JVC stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, and power mirrors and windows. A style bar is stationed behind the seats. Wear is evident on the seats.

The four-spoke steering wheel wears a worn leather cover and frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 125k miles.

The 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 128 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.

A photocopy of the window sticker lists initial delivery to Jeff Wyler Mazda in Batavia, Ohio, as well as factory equipment, colors, and a total vehicle price of $23,970.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage.
