This 1948 Willys-Overland CJ-2A was purchased by the seller on BaT in November 2024 and was subsequently refurbished. Work included performing power steering and front disc brake conversions as well as repainting the exterior and refreshing the interior. Power is from a 134.2ci inline-four linked to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes 16″ steel wheels, a folding windshield, a roll cage, and lap belts. This CJ-2A is offered with a Florida title in the seller’s name.

The truck was repainted olive drab with white military-style graphics under current ownership. Equipment includes a foldable windshield, a roll cage, and a left side mirror. An uninstalled soft top is included in the sale.

The 16″ steel wheels are mounted with a mixed set of tires. Under current ownership, power steering and front disc brake conversions were completed and the shocks were replaced.

The cabin was fitted with replacement seats trimmed in gray vinyl under current ownership, and additional work appointments include a replacement rear seat frame, lap belts, a fire extinguisher, and all-weather floor mats.

The three-spoke steering wheel was installed under current ownership and sits ahead of a 60-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 7k miles. The seller states the mileage is not accurate, and total mileage is unknown.

The 134ci inline-four features a single downdraft carburetor. Service in March 2026 included replacing the spark plugs and changing the oil.

The three-speed manual transmission was replaced and the transfer case was rebuilt in 2023. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.
The Florida title lists “WA-Antique – Over 50 Yrs Old” in the Other Jurisdiction Brands section.
